Welcome to the Oviedo Professional Firefighters, Local 3476 Web Site. Our Brotherhood represents 45 career Firefighters, Firefighter/Paramedics, Lieutenants, Paramedics and Battalion Chiefs of the City of Oviedo Fire/Rescue.   Since it's inception, our organization has dedicated itself to working with the department and the City of Oviedo to improve the quality of workplace safety, compensation, job security and the overall quality of the Oviedo Fire Department.

The mission of this Union is to place it's members on a higher plane of skill and efficiency through training, work place safety and compensation, and promote the brotherhood and camaraderie among its brothers and sisters.

We proudly serve the thirty thousand residents from three stations each providing Advanced Life Support.   Currently three shifts operating on a 24/48 schedule are staffed with 14-15 personnel.  Oviedo is a member of the Seminole County Department of Public Safety "First Response System" where the closest units respond regardless of jurisdictional boundaries.
